Dear Readers:
Aloha… I mean, hello! It’s me—your favorite not-so-famous Substack blogger—back from my honeymoon in the gorgeous state of Hawaii. My new wife and I spent two unforgettable weeks in the middle of the Pacific, and quite simply, we had a blast. So much so that I didn’t post a single new article—remastered or otherwise. But that’s okay. After months of wedding planning and an intensive job search, I needed a real break from the real world.
On that note, I’m excited to share that I started the next stage of my professional career this week, staying in the same financial/retirement industry I worked in before—but now with a little bump in pay and responsibility to sweeten the deal. Needless to say, life’s been treating me well lately!
While I expect the next several weeks to be a little hectic—between settling into the new job and gearing up for the serious demands of Oktoberfest season—I’m happy to announce that The Kaiser Take will be back in action next week. My plan is to publish at least one fresh, original post each week, alongside the remastered pieces I promised earlier this summer. I may hold a few of those back for the upcoming fall and winter holidays, so you’ll have some extra reading material during those cozy, slow days of the year.
Thank you, as always, for reading, subscribing, and supporting this little corner of the internet. Your comments, shares, and encouragement mean more than you know. I’m looking forward to diving back in, sharing new takes, revisiting old ones, and—most importantly—keeping the conversation going.
Very truly yours,
James Kaiser
